Thread veins, sometimes known as spider or broken veins, are small prominent veins that appear just below your skin surface, commonly on your face and legs. They tend to branch and give a spidery sort of pattern hence their common name. Thread veins are completely harmless but can be cosmetically displeasing.
A number of factors contribute to the appearance of thread veins on your skin including: genetic inheritance, ageing, sedentary lifestyle, sun-damage, obesity, alcohol, smoking and hormonal changes
The removal of thread veins can be conducted through our advanced laser treatment. Sometimes one treatment is sufficient for smaller thread veins, however, larger ones may require more than one session.
The advanced laser penetrates the skins surface and promotes the production of collagen, which enhances the natural healing process of the skin, leading to the reduction and removal of thread veins.
